How to Apply Graphics
Be careful when working with sharp objects! Use extreme caution when working with knives. Knives can injure, kill, or hurt really bad.
Please read the entire instructions before starting! It will give you a better understanding of the overall process.
For the best results, please insure board is absolutely clean and dry. After graphic is applied, please use a hair dryer or other heat source to help activate the adhesive and give you a water tight seal.
Items needed in order to attach your Facelift consist of:
- lint-free cloth,
- isopropyl alcohol,
- screwdriver (for binding removal),
- flat object or hand to help apply Facelift® evenly,
- razor or cutting device,
- tape
- hair dryer
Ready:
Start by detaching the bindings and removing all other decals/stomp pads from the board. ( We recommend marking your bindings before you remove them)

Next, using a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol, remove any remaining adhesive and dirt. Once board has been cleaned and DRIED you can begin the application process.

Lay your board on a non-slip surface, carpet works ok. Center the Facelift® on the board. Feel the edge of your board through the Facelift to ensure it will cover evenly and strait!! This step is important so take your time

Once it is centered, run a 2 ft. strip of tape across the center, taping the Facelift on top of your board to the flat surface.

Peel back half of the Facelift and cut off the backing.

Apply the Facelift® design from the center to the tip. Using your hand apply exposed adhesive to board slowly, ensuring graphic lays flat against the board. ( I recommend using the opposite side of the backing material!!)

Once it is smooth and flat, remove the tape and peel the remaining half back. Once again begin applying the Facelift® design from the center to the tip. To ensure adhesion use a wash cloth to apply PRESSURE on the entire Facelift®. Pay close attention to edges.
Use the straight edge razor to trim around the board. Use caution not to slice into board edge…go slow! Try to ensure that no “over-hangs” are left or this may lead to slight edge peel.

Apply hair dryer to entire surface and edges of your Facelift, until the Facelift feels warm to the touch. Apply Pressure again, allow board to cool and then check adhesion around edges for a tight seal. Trim any areas left un stuck!
Feel for your screw holes,
make a single slice and re-install your bindings.
Be ready for everyone to ask “Where did you get that board?”
